We prepare our general practitioners for the future

Supporting the next generation of medical professionals is a priority for us. That’s why doctors training to become general practitioners receive their final dermatology touch-up with us.

What does this mean for our patients?

All general practitioners working with us for six months are qualified doctors, not interns. If you are treated by a doctor in training, Dr. E. Paul Scheidegger will always review your case as well. This ensures you are well cared for in every aspect.

My name is Dr. med. Gabriela Galliker

After completing my medical degree in 2019, I spent two years working in internal medicine and one year in surgery at Muri Hospital. I then transitioned to the internal medicine department at the Kantonsspital Baden. These roles provided me with valuable experience in both inpatient and outpatient care.

My long-term goal is to work in general practice, and I am now excited to deepen my knowledge in dermatology. Alongside my rotation at the Allergie & Haut Praxis Brugg, I am also working in a general practice.

My name is Dr Bettina Näf. After completing my state examination in 2019, I began my medical training in the surgical emergency ward at Wetzikon Hospital. Since then, I have gained valuable experience in internal medicine, first at Wetzikon Hospital and then at Baden Cantonal Hospital. My stations took me through the emergency ward, inpatient internal medicine, the intensive care unit and the general internal medicine consultation. This made me realise how important dermatological issues are. I am very pleased to be able to deepen my knowledge in this area, particularly with regard to my aspirations to work as a GP. In addition to my rotation position at the Allergy & Skin Practice Brugg, I also work in a general practitioner's practice.
