From 5 January 2026, we are pleased to welcome Dr Roberto Lo Presti as Senior Physician (acting) to our practice. He is a fully trained specialist in Allergology and Clinical Immunology Swiss board certified and brings solid experience from both university hospitals and specialised centres.

We prepare our general practitioners for the future

Supporting the next generation of medical professionals is a priority for us. That’s why doctors training to become general practitioners receive their final dermatology touch-up with us.

What does this mean for our patients?

All general practitioners working with us for six months are qualified doctors, not interns. If you are treated by a doctor in training, Dr. E. Paul Scheidegger will always review your case as well. This ensures you are well cared for in every aspect.

My name is Dr. med. Marina Kaeslin

After completing my medical degree in 2019, I worked in the emergency department at the Cantonal Hospital of Lucerne, followed by two years in internal medicine at the Cantonal Hospital of Uri. In early 2023, I transitioned to the Cantonal Hospital of Baden, where I gained a further two years of valuable experience and knowledge in internal medicine.

With the goal of becoming a general practitioner in the coming years, I was given the unique opportunity to deepen my knowledge in dermatology through the general practice training curriculum. In addition to my position at the Allergie & Haut  in Brugg, I also continue to work in the emergency outpatient clinic at the Cantonal Hospital of Baden.
